Our story
Born from a shared passion for the sea.
"Moon Sailing was born from a shared passion for the sea and a desire to share the freedom and beauty of sailing with others."
Founded by Luna and Juanpa, a couple from Costa Rica, Moon Sailing is a small, owner-operated sailing charter based in Puerto Deportivo de Marbella. Having grown up surrounded by the ocean, with a love for surfing, kitesurfing and life on the water, the sea has always been a big part of our lives.
After spending the last 6 years in Spain, working in the boating industry and exploring the Mediterranean, we decided to create our own sailing experience in Marbella — something personal, relaxed and genuine, where people can enjoy the sea just as much as we do.
Your skippers
We are Luna and Juanpa, a couple who share a love for the ocean, adventure and meeting people from all over the world. Luna is a female skipper, fluent in Spanish, English and French, and personally welcomes guests on board. Together, we take care of every sailing experience, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
