Questions before you book.
Where does the sailing tour depart from?
All Moon Sailing experiences leave from Puerto Deportivo de Marbella, twenty minutes on foot from the old town. Parking is available on the pier and taxis stop at the gate. We send the exact berth and a map with your booking confirmation.
How many people can come on a private charter?
Moonstone takes up to seven guests plus the skipper. Every private sailing tour in Marbella is the whole boat for your group — couples, families and small groups all pay the same flat price.
Will we actually sail, or is it motoring?
We sail whenever the wind allows, which on the Marbella coast between April and October is most days. If the sea is flat calm we motor to the anchorage so you still get your swim, and hoist the sails as soon as the breeze fills in.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel if you prefer your own, sunscreen and a light layer for the sunset cruise — it cools down quickly once the sun is gone. Soft-soled shoes or bare feet on deck. Everything else is on board.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain Luna checks conditions the day before and again on the morning of your sail. If it isn't safe or enjoyable to go out, we move your booking to another day at no cost, or refund you in full.
Can I bring my own food or cake?
Yes. Many guests bring a cake for birthdays or a picnic for the full-day trip. Tell us in advance and we'll keep it cool and bring it out at the right moment.
Ready when you are.
Pick your sailing experience, pay a 20% deposit and Captain Luna takes care of the rest. Not sure which trip fits your group? Send us a message and we'll recommend one.
